PACETEQ was founded in 2021 and has grown to a team of 50 people operating at the highest levels of motorsports. From here, the company has expanded into football and other active sports, applying the same AI-driven performance intelligence across new environments.
"Competing in the most demanding series in the world from a base in Leinefelde is not a contradiction. For PACETEQ, it has always been the point. Technology built close to the ground, with precision, and with a long-term view." — Alex Bodo, CEO of PACETEQ
On 19 May, at the 4. Thüringer Champions MEET in Apolda, PACETEQ was officially welcomed into the Thuringian Hidden Champions. An exclusive network of companies recognised as global market and technology leaders from the region. The event, held at the historic Eiermannbau and attended by Economics Minister Colette Boos-John, brought together all 103 Hidden Champions from Thuringia, each representing a different field, each sharing the same defining characteristic: world-class impact from an unexpected address.
Economics Minister Colette Boos-John, who attended the event, framed what the network represents:
"The Hidden Champions stand for innovative strength, international competitiveness and strong industrial value creation. They demonstrate that Thuringia is a leading player nationwide as a centre for business and technology."
Alex knows exactly what that looks like in practice:
"Being recognised as a Hidden Champion from Thuringia means a lot to us – not just as a company, but as a team. We built something world-class right here in Leinefelde, and this is proof that where you are from does not limit what you can achieve."

The Hidden Champions recognition is more than an award. It is membership in a network of Thuringian companies that have each found their own way to lead globally in their field. For PACETEQ, joining that community at this stage of its growth is a validation of both the technology and the people behind it.
"Joining this network is a milestone, but it is also a reminder of what drives us. We are not done. Every series we enter, every dataset we analyse, every partnership we build it all adds up to something bigger." — Alex Bodo, CEO of PACETEQ
Every session counts. From Thuringia to the world.
